Title:
RADIATION IMAGE CONVERSION PANEL FOR METHOD FOR READING THROUGH LIGHT CONDENSATION ON BOTH SIDE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3854000
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion panel for a method for reading through light condensation on both sides that gives radiation images of high picture quality and improves the efficiency of erasion.
SOLUTION: In a radiation image conversion panel which has phosphor layers made of photostimulable phosphors and is used for a technique for reading radiation images by a method for condensing light on both sides, the difference between an erased value on the front side of the panel which is irradiated with radiation and the light used to read radiation images and that on the back side of the panel which is opposite to the front side is fixed at 10% or lower when the ratio between the amount of erased light on the front side of the panel and that on the back side of it is set at 6:4, (7:3 or 8:2).
