PURPOSE: To uniformly increase the filling degree of a fluorescent substance and to increase the sharpness of an image by a method wherein a polymer at a low softening temperature is used on the side of a support and a polymer at a high softening temperature is used on the surface side.

CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent-substance layer 2 is formed on a support 1, and a transparent protective film 3 is formed on it. The fluorescent-substance layer 2 is constituted of a lower-side part 2a, for the fluorescent-substance layer 2, which is situated on the side of the support 1 from the position of 1/2 of a layer thickness and of an upper- side part 2b which is situated on its upper side. The fluorescent-substance layer 2 is formed in such a way that a polymer solution in which a stimulating fluorescent substance has been dispersed uniformly is coated on the support 1 in a multiple layer manner so as to be compressed and fused or that fluorescent-substance sheets for the upper-side part 2b and the lower-side part 2a are manufactured so as to be compressed and fused. At this time, a polymer softening temperature for the lower-side part 2a is set to be lower than a polymer softening temperature for the upper-side part 2b. Concretely, a polymer having a softening temperature of 50 to 120°C is used preferably for the upperside part 2b, and a polymer having a softening temperature of 30 to 80°C is used preferably for the lower-side part 2a.
