Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to appropriately capture a moving image at an X-ray image detection device that is incapable of communicating with an X-ray source.SOLUTION: An X-ray image detection device includes an FPD (Flat Panel Display) that detects an X-ray image by means of a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix manner and accumulating therein signal charges corresponding to X-ray incident amounts. A control part of the X-ray image detection device creates an irradiation profile which expresses an X-ray irradiation amount per unit time, and a detection profile, which expresses an X-ray integrated detection amount per unit time, based on an output voltage Vout of a short circuit pixel of the FPD. The control part compares a threshold value Ts set from the irradiation profile and a period Tf in which the integrated detection amount specified from the detection profile becomes almost constant, with each other. When the period Tf is shorter than the threshold value Ts, the control part determines that a falling part of a previously irradiated X-ray having a pulse shape and a rising part of the next irradiated X-ray overlap each other and sets an operation mode of the FPD to a continuous irradiation corresponding mode.
