To protect a signal detecting means from a transitional overcurrent that flows in/out of a solid-state radiation detector at a timing when a voltage applied on the solid-state radiation detector is changed, regarding a radiation image recording/reading apparatus constituted of the solid-state radiation detector and the signal detecting means for detecting the signal outputted from the solid-state radiation detector, etc.

In the case of recording the radiation image, the transitional overcurrent flows in/out of the solid-state radiation detector at a timing to apply the voltage on the solid-state radiation detector and a timing to stop the voltage apply on the detector, a reset switch for each charge amplification circuit of the signal detection part is made in an ON state (disable state) in a period before the timing to apply the voltage on the solid-state radiation detector and after the timing to stop the voltage apply, so that the signal input to an operation amplifier is prevented.
