Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus that enables accurate focal point regulation that cannot be acquired by discrimination using naked eyes, and to provide a focal point regulating process for the radiation image apparatus.
SOLUTION: The radiation imaging apparatus comprises a radiation generation section for irradiating a body to be irradiated with radiation; a variable robot table including a fixed body to be irradiated for positioning the body to be irradiated and a test pattern fitting member for accommodating at least one test pattern; and a radiation detection section for generating a radiation transmission image formed by irradiating the body to be irradiated with radiation. In the focal point regulating process, the radiation transmission image of the test pattern is acquired, a circle having a specific radius is set to the radiation transmission image of the test pattern, the value of a pixel positioned on the circumference of the circle is detected, standard deviation in the value of the pixel positioned on the circumference of the circle is calculated, and it is judged that the radius of the circle is an index factor in resolution when the standard deviation is smaller than a preset critical value.
