Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a distance between two points on an image. SOLUTION: Two images with different directions such as angles or positions to the same objective site (a watched blood vessel B) are taken and from difference in coordinates A and A' of the same site on these two images, the distance 1 between two points on a two-dimensional X-ray detector 13 is obtained by a known pixel length of the two-dimensional X-ray detector and in addition, based on the difference in the angles or the positions when two images are obtained, a pixel size p of the images is obtained. Then, by using the pixel size of this image, a measured value X of the distance L between two points on the image is obtained. It is possible thereby to highly accurately measure the distance.
