Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the residues of unexposed parts and staining at the time of development, to obtain pixels having an excellent adhesion property and to enhance the heat resistance of the post baked pixels by incorporating a copolymer of an N position-substd. maleimide monomer and other copolymerizable monomers into an alkaline soluble resin.
SOLUTION: The copolymer of the N position-substd. maleimide monomer and other copolymerizable monomers are incorporated into the alkaline soluble resin of the radiation sensitive compsn. for color filters contg. coloring agents, the alkaline soluble resin, multifunctional monomer and photopolymn. initiator. The radiation of this case includes visible rays, UV rays, far UV rays, electron beams, X-rays, etc. The N position-substituent in the N position-substd. maleimide monomer includes, for example, a (cyclo)alkyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group and various substituent derivatives, etc. Particularly the aryl group and substd. aryl group among these N position-substituents are more preferable.
