PURPOSE: To absorb the stress and thermal expansion difference at manufacture and operation, and suppress the generation of a breakage such as crack by circularly forming the outer circumferential part of a beryllium foil radiation transmitting window, and airtightly connecting the outer circumference extending part to a part of a vacuum vessel.
CONSTITUTION: To the opening stepped part 22 of a window frame 21, a beryllium foil radiation transmitting window 25 is airtightly brazed with a wax material 23 and a presser ring 23. The window 25 forms a circular part 25b in the inner circumferential part of a connecting part 25a, The circular part 25b has a single curvature radius in its sectional inside curvature radius, and is bonded so that the swollen part is situated on the atmosphere side. Thus, the stress and thermal expansion difference at manufacture and operation are absorbed by the circular part of the radiation transmitting window 25 formed of beryllium foil, a breakage such as crack is difficult to cause, and a highly reliable radiation transmitting window body structure can be provided.
