Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to miniaturize and lighten a portable electronic device and to improve the heat radiating performance of it.
SOLUTION: A radiator 1 is used for a personal computer and radiates heat generated from a microprocessor(MPU) that is a component of the personal computer. The whole radiator comprises a pair of clad aluminum plates 10 that are formed of two aluminum plates with a non-crimp part of predetermined pattern. A hollow swelling part 4 that is formed by swelling a plate or two outward and a heat pipe part 5 is formed by filling active fluid into the inside of it. An MPU attaching part 13 is an area where a part of the heat pipes 5 is located on a side of the aluminum clad plates 10. The part of the heat pipe 5 that is located at the attaching part 13 of the MPU is a heat-accepting part 6.
