Title:
RADIO ACCESS SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3216707
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a delay caused by transmission of a dial number specific to a portable telephone system through an out-band.
SOLUTION: When a subscriber hooks off a telephone set 5, a subscriber terminal 4 detects off-hook and sends a pseudo dial tone DT to the telephone set 5. Simultaneously with this operation, the subscriber terminal 4 connects a radio channel between the subscriber terminal 4 and a base station 3 (or a base station 3 or a base station control station 2) by sending a signal to the base station 3 (or the base station control station 2). Then a dial signal is sent to the base station 3 (or the base station control station 2) every time a dial button is depressed (PB or DP system). The base station 3 discriminates whether or not the dial signal indicates a final digit of the telephone number and opens a speech channel when the dial signal reaches the final digit.
