Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reception characteristics of a dedicated physical data channel (DPDCH) on the uplink transmitted simultaneously with a dedicated physical control channel (DPCCH) in a radio base station device of a third-generation cellular phone system.
SOLUTION: A TFCI code is extracted from the DPCCH by a symbol data decision part 8, and TFCI decoding is performed by a soft decision TFCI decoding part 11 to obtain correlation values with a Walsh orthogonal vector, and they are successively stored in a correlation value characteristic storage part 10. A compensation value calculation part 9 decides a TFCI decoding characteristic from stored correlation values and calculates a corresponding compensation value. A data compensation part 1 for DPDCH performs compensation processing of data in accordance with the compensation value. The soft decision TFCI decoding part generates corresponding TFCI codes in accordance with decoded TFCI values and compares them with reception TFCI codes and informs the compensation value calculation part of information of a slot position where error has occurred.
