Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station system capable of measuring a delay time with a simple and inexpensive configuration.
SOLUTION: A radio base station apparatus 101 has a delay measurement control section 2 for transmitting data (a) through a downlink optical fiber 102 and transmitting data (b) through an uplink optical fiber 103 after a lapse of a prescribed time from the transmission of the data (a), and a radio transmission/reception apparatus 104 has a delay measurement control section 13 that reflects the received data (a) and transmits the data to the radio base station apparatus 101 via the uplink optical fiber 103, measures a time from the reception of the data (a) to the reception of the data (b) and gives a delay difference obtained by subtracting the prescribed time from the measured value to the radio base station apparatus 101. The delay measurement control section 2 calculates a delay time of the downlink optical fiber 102 and the uplink optical fiber 103 on the basis of the delay difference and the total delay time obtained from the transmission of the data a until the reception of the data (a).
