Title:
RADIO CARD READER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57182281
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce hindrances due to unnecessary ratio wave radiation by placing a data card in front of a station, putting solar batteries in operation by light from a lighting device and then reading and indicating the data through an electronic computer.

CONSTITUTION: When a data card 1 is placed in front of a station 6, solar batteries 5 are energized by light from a lighting device 13 and a pulse code generator 2 and an FM modulating circuit 3 operate to impose FM modulation upon data on the card 1, thereby transmitting them from a transmitting antenna 4. This radio wave is received by a receiving antenna 7, passed through an IF circuit 9, and then processed by FM detection 10 to read pulse codes, and a parity check 12 on pulse-shaped codes is made to supply correct data to a host computer 14. Then, the computer 14 outputs various indication signals D1 and D2 which correspond to pulse code signals to indicate corresponding working stages and also sends prescribed materials out of a materials storehouse, thereby manufacturing products.
