To realize highly accurate likelihood estimation and to suppress the performance degradation of the entire receiver in a MIMO receiver using MMSE.
In the MIMO receiver, not only an antenna weight matrix W but also a noise power estimated value σr2 used for MMSE processing (that is, the estimated value of noise power included in reception signals before spatial decoding) and an estimated channel matrix are used, the noise power, signal power and interference power in respective stream signals after the spatial decoding are respectively directly estimated, and SINR is obtained by the estimated values. Thus, likelihood amplitude information composed of the square root is utilized for soft judgement processing as highly accurate likelihood information.
