Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust power consumption of a radio communication device according to traffic.SOLUTION: A radio communication device communicates with another radio communication device in a radio network according to a cycle when it synchronizes with the other radio communication device. The radio communication device includes: a radio communication unit for receiving and transmitting radio signals; and a control unit for obtaining an index value related to traffic in the radio network, and determining first time length when the radio communication unit is turned on in one cycle on the basis of the index value. The control unit increases the first time length if the index value indicates an increase in the traffic, and reduces the first time length if the index value indicates a decrease in the traffic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
