A data detecting means in the MPU of a PDC side unit 20 detects whether data are not supplied for a fixed time from a PDC 10 to the PDC-side unit 20, decides that the PDC side unit is not used when the data are not supplied for the fixed time, and stops the operation of the MPU of the PDC side unit 20.
