PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the reception or transmission of signals of lower priority and enable the reception of a signal of high priority, which another radio communication device transmits, when the generation of the signal of high priority is predicted.SOLUTION: A radio communication device uses a radio unit capable of switching a plurality of radio channels and transmission and reception, and a radio channel controller operable to perform control for switching radio channels of high-priority and low-priority signals, and switching transmission and reception to perform radio communications. In the radio communication device, the radio channel controller performs control based on a probability P of not receiving a high-priority signal at the timing for receiving or transmitting the low-priority signal. In the control, a low-priority signal is received or transmitted at the probability P of not receiving a high-priority signal when receiving or transmitting the low-priority signal, or a low-priority signal is received or transmitted when the probability P of not receiving a high-priority signal is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold R, and it is predicted that no high-priority signal is received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
