Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a radio communication equipment in which reception sound volume is adjusted automatically while taking a frequency component of surrounding noise into account.
CONSTITUTION: A talking 1st microphone and a surrounding noise detection 2nd microphone are provided to different positions of the equipment main body. A noise signal received from the 2nd microphone is given to a high pass filter 2-1 and a low pass filter 2-2, in which the signal is divided into high and low frequency components. A control section 3 has a comparator section 3-1 comparing levels of the high frequency component and the low frequency component, a memory 3-2 storing the level and the reception sound amount as a reception sound volume setting table as to the high frequency component and the low frequency component and a reception sound volume setting section 3-3 referencing the reception sound volume setting table in response to the comparison result of the comparator section to decide and adjust the gain of an amplifier 15.
