To provide a radio communication module which permits radio communication circuits to be disposed efficiently on a small-sized board.

The radio communication module includes an external connection area 20, a host interface area 40, and a radio communication circuit area 30 comprising a transmitter circuit part 32, receiver circuit parts 35, 36 and a communication control part 31, which are all mounted on a board 10. The external connection area is located at an end on one side in the lateral direction of the board, the host interface area is located at an end on the other side in the lateral direction of the board, and the radio communication circuit area is located between the external connection area and the host interface area. The communication control part is located at an end on one side of the longer direction of the board, and components of the transmitter circuit part are located extending from the communication control part in the longer direction of the board to a place near an end on the opposite side of the communication control part, while also located extending from a place near the end toward the external connection area side along an end in the lateral direction of the board, thus forming substantially a shape of the letter L.
