Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an undesired wave and to reduce an error rate of the receiver by synthesizing a direct wave and a 1st delay signal resulting from a received radio signal and providing an output of the synthesized wave as the reception signal.
SOLUTION: An adaptive control processor 9 of a receiver 30 samples a received signal at a sampling period Ts equal to the time length of a symbol string from a reference time being a time of a 2nd symbol in a 1st symbol rate of a training signal included in the desired wave of the received signal at first to recover a recovered training signal. Then the weight to each antenna element 100-i is calculated and outputted to a beam shaping device B1. Then each multiplier 2-i (i=1, 2,..., N) in the beam shaping device B1 multiplies a reception signal xi (t) with a complex weight wi and provides an output of the product signal to an adder 3 and the adder 3 adds N-sets of signals outputted from the multipliers 2-1-2-N to provide an output of a signal y(t).
