Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a relay node to a radio communication system already in operation without requiring an existing node to be replaced or remodeled, or a service to be interrupted.SOLUTION: A node is newly added in radio communication systems with an LTE and LTE-advanced scheme standardized by 3GPP. The node is called a relay gateway and has a function to terminate and relay an S1-MME interface between a DeNB and RN and an MME, and a function to relay an S1-U interface between the DeNB and RN and an S-GW.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
