Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of avoiding interference caused by transmission delay while effectively utilizing a resource of a time slot to a maximum when performing radio communication in a time-division manner.SOLUTION: As a representative configuration of a radio communication system 100 according to the present invention, the radio communication system includes a line station 110 and a relay station 120 for performing radio communication in the time-division manner. A guard time Tg is provided in a rear end of a time-divided frame, and at least one of the line station and the relay station calculates a delay time Ta in the radio communication with the other station and compares the delay time Ta with the guard time Tg. In the case of Ta>Tg, while outputting on an earlier stage a first slot of transmission just by the guard time Tg, the first slot is changed into a shortened format that is a format shorter than a normal format.
