Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize doubling which can secure communication paths of respective POS terminals and a server even if the line connecting the server to a radio base station is disconnected.
SOLUTION: Servers S1 and S2 monitor each other and, once one server detects abnormality of the other server, functions as substitute for the other server. Radio base stations BUS1 and BUS2 stop radio communicating operation if a communication with the server through a wire becomes abnormal to disable the radio communication with the radio-connected POS terminal. Then POS terminals TM1 and TM2 switch radio communication partners from main radio base station to a subordinate radio base station if a radio communication with the main radio base station communicating with their slave radio stations is disabled. The main radio base station and subordinate radio base are radio base stations which are connected to different host equipments by wires.
