PURPOSE: To improve the data transmission efficiency and to prevent the throughput and the system efficiency from being reduced without accompanying complicated configuration of a communication equipment with respect to the increase in number of mobile stations.
CONSTITUTION: The system is made up of mobile stations T1-T5, a base station 50, and repeaters 1, 2 having a communication relay function between the mobile stations T1-T5 and the base station 50. Data from the mobile stations T1, T3 are received by a narrow band radio equipment 11 of the repeater 1 and processed into a packet by a spread spectrum modulation radio equipment 13 and the data are subjected to spread spectrum modulation and sent to the base station 50, in which the data are demodulated and decomposed for each mobile station and given to a host computer 51. Furthermore, the data processed by the host computer 51 are processed into a packet at the base station 50, subjected to spread spectrum modulation and the result is sent to the spread spectrum modulation radio equipments 13, 23, and decomposed into data addressed to each mobile station and sent to each mobile station via narrow band radio equipments 11, 12, 21.
