A meter inspection data collecting signal and meter inspection data such as used amount of gas etc. is transmitted while relaying from the first meter reading device "A" until the last meter reading device so as to make the positions draw a loop by making the first meter reading device "A" to be a starting position, by making the last meter reading device "Z" to be an ending position, and then from a nearer position to a farther positions and finally nearer position again sequentially.
