To obtain a radio pager in which a receiver received/detected a resend signal superposed on a high frequency signal transmitted from a transmitter performs paging even when it is called by one or more transmitters simultaneously.
Each transmitter 1a, 1b,... comprises a call detection circuit 12 for detecting depression of a call button 11 and generating a call detection signal, a transmitter timer 16 for measuring a resend delay time elapsing after a call is detected before a radio wave is resent to a receiver 2, a high frequency transmission circuit 17 for transmitting a high frequency signal superposed with a call signal upon detecting a call and transmitting a high frequency signal superposed with a resend signal upon elapsing the resend delay time, respectively, and a random number generator 18 for varying the resend delay time elapsing after sending a radio wave by depressing the call button before resending a radio wave randomly.
