PURPOSE: To receive a signal to be received substantially accurately and quickly by comparing a code signal with an identification signal stored in a storage means and displaying a signal to be received substantially.

CONSTITUTION: A signal to be received substantially and a code signal representing the content are sent simultaneously, and an identification signal stored in storage means 15∼17 is detected to be correspondent to the code signal by a control circuit 9 being a comparison means, and the signal to be received substantially is displayed on a display device 11 acoustically or visually. The code signal is, e.g., a broadcast station or a program content. Thus, a desired program or broadcast station is selected accurately and quickly with simple operation by revising the content of the storage means 15∼17 or replacing the storage means 15∼17 with different content.
