In this radio telephone system, a radio telephone device 3 having a message data transmitting/receiving part 10, message data key inputting part 20, message data displaying part 19, message memory 25 which stores the message data, and control part 18 which controls each part is connected through a radio line with a switching station 1 and a message service center 4. Caller information including a transmission message, date information at which the transmission message is outputted, and calling number is transmitted from the radio telephone device 3 of one caller to the radio telephone device 3 of a receiver, and the message is displayed at the displaying part 19 after the date decided by the date information in the radio telephone device 3 of the receiver who receives the caller information.
