To hold the gain of an antenna system at a high value by executing manual setting adapted to the inclined states of two antennas to be individualy matched with two polarized waves to be cross polarization.
Since two antennas 111, 112 individually matched with 1st and 2nd polarized waves to be cross polarization are fixed to a mobile object, receiving polarized waves arriving at the antennas 111, 112 are deflected from the 1st and 2nd polarized waves at the movement of the mobile object and the inclination angles of the antennas 111, 112 are changed. When a person carries the mobile object, the polarity of the inclination angles is inverted in accordance with its carrying method. Thereby power corresponding to a vector sum formed by a synthesizing means 17 on the single feeding line of the antenna 111 or 112 is changed in accordance with the inclination angle. Under the interface of a man-machine interface means 13, the phase shift quantity of one or both of the feeding lines of the antennas 111, 112 adapted to inclinations are variably set up. Since the vector sum to be a phase difference obtained by emphasizing a received wave can be obtained as a synthetic wave, high receiving power can be maintained, and during transmission, gain can be held at a high value by the reversibility of antenna characteristics.
