To prevent a measurement error from occurring by suppressing the reflection phenomenon of an electromagnetic wave.
A radio wave absorber 110 covers the pipe portion 42 and the box portion 43 of a probe main body 40. The electromagnetic wave absorber 110 is in a nearly truncated-cone shape widening from the side of a head portion 41 to the box portion 43 of the probe main body 40. When the tapered electromagnetic absorber 110 made of urethane with uniform carbon density is viewed from the side of the head portion 41 of the probe main body 40, thicknesses (dimensions in the axial direction of the pipe portion 42) of the absorber 110 are different. Consequently carbon density is varied in radial directions of the absorber 110, even when the absorber 110 has uniform carbon density. Consequently, the electromagnetic wave absorber 110 absorbs electromagnetic wave over a wide band, so the reflection phenomenon of the electromagnetic wave that the primary probe body 40 is to measure is suppressed.
