Abstract:
PURPOSE:To find an underwater drowned person automatically by finding persons in water and registering them in a stand-by registration list of alarm generation, and generating an alarm if anyone does not return within a constant time. CONSTITUTION:Swimmers 1a, 1b, 1c... puts on transmitters 2a, 2b, 2c... on their skin surfaces and a reception system 3 uses an array antenna 4 to receive a radio wave from a signal source, thereby carrying on supervision. Then if a break of a signal from one signal source is found, the position at the signal break point is found from last received data and time-limiting operation is started; and an alarm is generated unless a radio wave arrives again within the scheduled time, and the break point position is displayed. Here, a personal computer 6 performs the supervision by using a receiver 5 as an input data generation source and position information is displayed on a CRT device together with other pieces of supplementary information.
