Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive material adsorption sheet that can be manufactured simply, and to provide a method for manufacturing the radioactive material adsorption sheet.SOLUTION: A radioactive material adsorption sheet is made by using a papermaking raw material containing pulp and zeolite powder, which is prepared so that a zeolite powder content in the solid papermaking raw material becomes 50 mass% or more. A method for manufacturing the radioactive material adsorption sheet includes steps of: mixing the pulp and the zeolite powder with a content of 50 mass% or more in the papermaking raw material and preparing a slurry; adding fixer, paper strengthening agent and flocculant to the slurry while agitating the same and preparing paper stock; and papermaking by using the paper stock.
