Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient overlapping of two types of measurement methods of a pulse counting method and a Campbell method.SOLUTION: A radioactive ray measurement device 100 comprises: a radioactive detector 1; a pre-amplifier 2 that amplifies a pulse signal to be output from the radioactive detector 1; a pulse count unit 12 that counts the pulse signal amplified by the pre-amplifier 2 over a measurement time T to output a counting rate; a dead time compensation unit 13 that corrects an error due to a dead time with respect to the counting rate to calculate a post-corrected counting rate; a dead time evaluation unit 20 that receives the counting rate output by the pulse counting unit 12, and the post-corrected counting rate calculated by the dead time correction unit 13 to output a modification value of the dead time; a Campbell method measurement unit 11 that measures the output signal of the radioactive ray detector 1 amplified by the pre-amplifier 2 by a Campbell method; and a signal selection unit 14 that compares the Campbell method counting rate with the post-corrected counting rate, and outputs a value nearer to a linear characteristic as a value of the counting rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
