Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extract a desired picture signal out of a large number of picture signals in a storage part in a short time by storing an inputted picture signal and a summary picture signal obtained by inputted the picture signal to a summary picture signal extraction part. CONSTITUTION:The picture signal inputted from a radiograph recorder 30 or an optical disk 40 via an I/F 13 is inputted to a DISK 22 and a summary picture extraction device 15. In the device 15, the picture signal inputted at a ratio of three image elements of a radiograph to one image element is sampled, and is transferred to the DISK 22 as the summary picture signal, and is stored with the input picture signal. In CRT displays (18a-21a), nine pictures out of a large number of pictures based on each of a large number of summary picture signals called from the DISK 22 are displayed simultaneously on one picture. By using four CRTs (18a-21a) simultaneously and displaying the nine pictures on one picture, (9X4=36) pictures can be displayed simultaneously. Therefore, it is possible to find a desired picture in a short time.
