The radiographic image generating system having a console 3 communicable with a plurality of detectors 2a, 2b, and 2c selects and registers photography order information, associates a detector ID of the detector 2a used for photography with the photography order information, prohibits the detector 2a associated with the photography order information from being associated with other photography order information, and cancels prohibition of association of the detector 2a with other photography order information when radiographic image data obtained by the detector 2a are associated with the photography order information and determined.
