To provide a radiographic imaging device which achieves shortening of the transfer time of data by reversibly compressing the data while saving the size of information relating to data compression processing.
The radiographic imaging device 1 includes a reading circuit 17 for reading image data D from respective radiation detection elements 7, calculation means 22 and 44 for calculating the difference data ΔD of the image data D of pixels adjacent in an image to be transferred, a memory storing the information relating to the data compression processing for performing compression processing only for a part of the difference data ΔD, and a compression means 22 for performing the compression processing of the difference data ΔD on the basis of the information. The compression means 22 does not perform the compression processing when the difference data ΔD do not belong to a part of the difference data ΔD, performs the compression processing on the basis of the information relating to the data compression processing only when the difference data ΔD belong to a part of the difference data, and transfers the compressed difference data ΔD and non-compressed difference data ΔD together.
