This radiographic system 1 comprises an X-ray-emitting section 104 for emitting X-rays, an X-ray receiving section 105 and a solid-state image pick-up element 1051 for detecting the X rays generated by the X-ray generating section 104 and then converting them into electric signals, a gravity direction detecting section 1050 for detecting the gravity direction concerning the X-ray receiving section 105 when the X-ray receiving section 105 detects the X rays, and a radiographic system control section 101 for producing image data based on the electric signals obtained by the X-ray receiving section 105. The radiographic system control section 101 adds the gravity information on the gravity orientation detected by the gravity direction detecting section 1050 to the produced image data to produce diagnostic image data.
