In a solid end mill provided with two or more circular-arc cutting edge 2 and end cutting edges 3 brought into contact therewith in one end of a main body and a shank 4 in the other end, at least one of the end cutting edges 3 is a cutter reaching a rotational center, a concave gradient is set equal to 5° or higher, the circular-arc cutting edges 2 are extended over the tips of the end cutting edges 3 in a center axis, and the rake of the circular- arc cutting edges 2 positioned in a part from an outer diameter to the end surface of the end cutting edges 3 are set negative in the radial direction and positive in the axial direction.
