Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radome which improves radiation directivity by locally providing portions having low transmittance of radio waves with a simple method and then by reducing undesirable radiation.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a radome 3 used opposite to a substrate of an array antenna 4 in which a power feeding point 42 for receiving power feeding from a waveguide 5 or a coaxial line and a plurality of radiation elements connected to this power feeding point 42 via a power feed line. In this radome, wall thickness of a dielectric wall thickness part 32 opposite to the power feeding point 42 is made larger than that of a dielectric plate 31 opposite to the plurality of radiation elements.
