Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional rafter clearance sealing tile wherein with an overlapping range of a projection and a cutout, adjustment is limited to operational dimensions, and there is a problem in dimensional adjustment in a wide range due to variation in roof gradient, and earthquake resistance is not considered.
SOLUTION: This rafter clearance sealing tile for ridge and corner ridge is composed of: a recessed part matching a curved surface extending from the crest of a pantile to the valley part; a spacer part having a curved cuff part; and a sealing part formed between the spacer part and the other spacer part, constructed to narrow down one end side to be fitted with the other end side, and substantially rectangular in section, and characterized by having a large adjustable range of operational length. Both ends of the spacer part are disposed in the center of the valley part of the pantile, and roofing can be performed so that the adjacent sealing surfaces are at the same level to form a bed of sealing tile stack on the upper layer. Thus, the rafter clearance sealing tile is useful for improvement in workability and stability of the whole ridge, and has good earthquake resistance and weather resistance.
