Abstract:
To provide vaccines for preventing or treating diseases of which onset or progression is resulting from enhanced activity of AGEs-RAGE system due to accumulation of AGEs or enhanced expression and function of RAGE.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a vaccine for preventing or treating an AGEs-RAGE system-associated disease comprising: (a) a peptide whose amino acid sequence is represented by SEQ ID NO:1, or (b) a peptide whose amino acid sequence has substitution, deletion, insertion and/or addition of one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 with the same immunogenicity as the peptide of (a).SELECTED DRAWING: None
