Abstract:
To provide a rail brake for a rolling stock capable of improving safety of operation.
A diagnosing device or a monitoring device is provided for monitoring a distance h between exciting coils 2-7 and a rail 1' in a magnetic rail brake or an eddy-current brake. To be specific, one or a plurality of distance sensors 11 and 12 are provided for measuring an air gap length h between the exciting coils 2-7 and a rail 1' top face.
