PURPOSE: To pass a magnet belt driving type car smoothly, and to conduct even switching smoothly.
CONSTITUTION: A flexible branch rail 2 is connected to a fixed rail 1, and a fixed rail 3 and a fixed rail 4 are laid on the front end side of the branch rail 2. The front end of the branch rail 2 is curved and moved by a rail driving gear 8, and connected selectively to the rails 3, 4. The rails 1, 2, 3, 4 are constituted in a box shape by horizontal top plates and pairs of vertical side plates. The top plate 10 of the branch rail 2 is configured by superposing a large number of metallic band plates 17. Load in the vertical direction of the top plate 10 is borne by a horizontal flexible vertical beam plate 18. A plurality of upper and lower horizontal bearing beams 19, 20 are fixed onto the vertical beam plate 18 at intervals. The top plate 10 is placed and received onto the top faces of the upper horizontal bearing beams 19, and each metallic band plate 17 is retained movably in the longitudinal direction. The side plates 14 are engaged with the upper and lower horizontal bearing beams 19, 20 relatively movably in the longitudinal direction.
