Abstract:
To provide a rail clamp device for a track traveling type machine capable of acquiring stable holding power, lengthening a service life while suppressing uneven wear on a contact surface, and surely pinching both side faces of a rail even at the time of an emergency stop in which a power source is interrupted and even at the time of a power failure.SOLUTION: A rail clamp device includes: clamp arms 21 which can clamp and open both side faces of a rail 4 by a shoe 25; a fluid pressure cylinder 22, at the time of expansion, causing tip parts of the clamp arms 21 to be brought close to each other and causing the shoe 25 to be brought into pressure contact with both side faces of the rail 4, on the other hand, at the time of contraction, causing the tip parts of the clamp arms 21 to be separated from each other and causing the shoe 25 to be opened from both the side faces of the rail 4; and a fluid pressure unit 50, at the time of normal operation, accumulating pressured work fluid while expanding and contracting the fluid pressure cylinder 22 by introducing the working fluid into the fluid pressure cylinder 22, on the other hand, at the time of an emergency stop in which a power source is interrupted and at the time of a power failure, causing the accumulated working fluid to be introduced into the fluid pressure cylinder 22 and causing the fluid pressure cylinder 22 to be expanded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
