Abstract:
A jig (300) for assisting attachment of a rail cover (130) makes it possible to easily attach the rail cover (130) for covering a top surface of a track rail (110) of a motion guide device (100), without removing a movable block from the track rail (110), the rail cover (130) comprising a flat part (240) for covering the top surface of the track rail (110), and a pair of side wall parts (250) provided on both ends in a shorter direction of the flat part (240). The jig (300) comprises a jig body (310) that is pushed and pulled in a longitudinal direction of the rail cover (130), and a pair of pressing rollers (340) that are disposed on a bottom surface of the jig body (310) so as to rotate in opposite directions to each other with circumferential surfaces thereof abutting against inner side surfaces of the pair of side wall parts (250), respectively, and that press the pair of side wall parts (250) outward along with movement of the jig body (310) along the longitudinal direction of the rail cover 130.
