Abstract:
To make it possible to easily position a rail without correcting measurement dimension of a measure when cutting the rail and without marking the rail in advance.SOLUTION: A rail cutting device includes a fixed blade 2, a movable blade 3, and a handle 4 swinging and operating the movable blade 3 and cuts a rail 7 in the shape of a cross sectional hat. The fixed blade 2 forms a fixed side fitting hole 42 which is formed into a cross-sectional hat shape and to which the rail 7 is fitted into a back-and-forth through shape. The movable blade 3 forms a movable side fitting hole 36 which is formed into the same shape of cross-sectional hat as the fixed side fitting hole 42 and to which the rail 7 is fitted into the back-and-forth through shape. The movable blade 3 is displaceable between a standby position where the fixed side fitting hole 42 and the movable side fitting hole 36 communicate with each other back and forth and a cutting position swung and displaced downward from the standby position. On the fixed blade 2, a notch part 45 from an upper surface of the fixed blade 2 to a fixed side horizontal hole 43 of the fixed side fitting hole 42 is formed from a front surface across to a back surface of the fixed blade 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
