Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saw type portable rail cutter for rail gas pressure welding and a rail cutting method capable of obtaining a cut plane having a high flatness level, as well as a rail pressure welding method which allows the quality of welded joint to be maintained excellent.SOLUTION: A tip saw type portable rail cutter for rail gas pressure welding comprises: a cutting machine body having a rotary cutting blade for cutting a railway rail in the width direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction; and a clamping part for rotatably supporting the cutting machine body. The clamping part comprises: a support part for supporting the railway rail web from one side in the width direction; and a clamp hook having tips for applying a pressing force to the railway rail web from two points on the other side of the width direction. The clamping part is configured to clamp the railway rail web between the support part and the clamp hook to fix the railway rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
