Abstract:
To provide a rail end cap capable of achieving both easiness of installation and difficulty of removal with respect to a seat rail.SOLUTION: A rail end cap 10 installed at an end part in a longer direction of a seat rail, has a base 11 set on a top plate part 3A of the seat rail and a cap 12 set in a shape of covering the base 11. The base 11 has: a cover part 11A for covering a top plate part 3A; an insertion piece 11C inserted into a partial area of an installation hole 3C formed in the top plate part 3A and having a projection part 11Ca projecting to the inside in the hole diameter direction; and a through-hole 11B opposed in the insertion direction to the other part area of the installation hole 3C. The cap 12 has a core part 12B for pushing out the projection part 11Ca to the outside in the hole diameter direction by being inserted into the other part area of the through-hole 11B and the installation hole 3C. The insertion piece 11C has a pad part 11Cb padded to the top plate part 3A from the opposite direction to the insertion direction by pushing-out of the projection part 11Ca caused by insertion of the core part 12B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
