Abstract:
To provide a rail having residual stress distribution to provide excellent durability and straightness by rolling straightening.
The rail excellent in the durability and the straightness, has compressive residual stress in the outer layer at ≤1 mm from the surface of the rail after straightening and the absolute value of the residual stress in the cross section of the rail is ≤10% of the deformation resistance of the rail.
