Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail machine emergency brake device capable of generating sufficient, uniform brake power even on a winding rail without the influence of the elastic deformation of a crane main body, and ensuring prevention against runaway of a rail machine not only during normal operation but also during power failure.SOLUTION: A rail machine emergency brake device includes a fluid pressure unit 14 configured so that, during normal operation, a working fluid is introduced into a fluid pressure cylinder 13 to accumulate the pressured fluid while actuating the fluid pressure cylinder 13 to expand/contract, and so that, during power failure, the accumulated working fluid is guided into the fluid pressure cylinder 13 to press a brake pad 12 against a traveling wheel rolling surface 4a of a rail 4.
